Kuala Lumpur: Batu Caves
We set off of Batu caves, a well known cave complex housing some Hindu temples, before seven o'clock this morning, an easy train ride away.
The temples weren't particularly inspiring but the guided nature tour through the dark caves next door was much better. We had a delightful young guide and a small group of six so we good personal attention. Apart from the bats (which we didn't really see because the aim is to not disturb them during the day), the small invertebrates and the lively commentary by the guide were the most interesting part of the tour.
