Ipoh: Sight seeing
We slept late and only got out mid morning. We wandered across the river to the old town and did a tour of some of the street art spread across buildings in the old town.
After lunch we wandered around some of the old colonial buildings such as the station, town hall and court house - all of them enormous. The Birch Memorial, featuring four panels representing the "development of civilization", suggested the British Empire's representatives in Malaysia had a rather restricted viewpoint.
