Gumi to Nakdong-ri: A short ride in which not a lot happened
After grabbing some rice balls and sandwiches from a GS25 near the motel, we set off at about a quarter past six this morning to make sure we would avoid the heat and headwinds that punished us a bit towards the end of yesterday's ride. We weren't sure how far we would go or where we would stop but after about forty kilometers we reached Nakdon-ri and checked into a motel and called it day.
We've been getting a bit frustrated that we have had so little chance to camp while on the Four Rivers Route. Decent sites have been few and far between because the route goes through mostly a mixture towns (with no parks that we have seen), industrial areas or farmlands. When we do find a nice place to camp we are faced with signs like this:

The rest of the day was spent working and then it was off to find some supper, which ended up being a TV dinner from a GS25 convenience store (probably the most cost effective way to eat, if you're not cooking yourself).
Today's ride: 42 km (26 miles)
Total: 1,825 km (1,133 miles)
