Villa Cerro Castillo
The surprise this morning was that Martin, who we thought would be ending his trip in Coyhaique with David, has joined us at La Araucaria the previous evening. The plan was to move to one of the other two campsites in the village so we had a slow morning, broke camp and cycled off to select which one. In the end we landed back at La Araucaria because the other two were even less appealing. We spent the day doing very little after that apart from, with Martin's help, getting sorted out with data on my mobile phone which means we won't be dependent on campsites and hostels providing an internet facility. A lot of snow has fallen around the village during the course of the day and we have watched the mountains get whiter each time the clouds part and allow us to see them. The next two days promise to be even colder. Watch this space.
