We were supposed to catch the ferry back to Satun in Thailand today but when we woke up this morning we changed our minds and instead took the ferry to Kuala Perlis in Malaysia.  Plans are made simply so they can be changed. 

We made sure we enjoyed a good swim in the excellent swimming pool at the Greenish Hotel before making the most of the buffet breakfast.  Then it was a short cycle down to the ferry port and a comfortable ride back to the mainland

We are staying in a simple but room less than a kilometer from the ferry port.  It has a laundry and a restaurant next door so the basics have been covered.  After doing the laundry and buying supper we are down to our last 7 Ringit so if we don't make it to Thailand tomorrow I will have to draw some more Malaysian money.
