Kampung Pasir Hitam

The area around the motel has pretty good birdlife including a group of Oriental Pied Hornbills that hang out in the trees just outside our room.

There is an enormous risk that we might never leave here. Kampung Pasir Hitam seems to be the perfect spot for a pair of tired software developers to park off and work, eat and swim. That is pretty much what today has consisted of and I suspect tomorrow will be much of the same.

Five minutes walk away from our digs is a lovely beach, mostly deserted, to which we escaped for a few swims between periods of work.

Apparantly there is an even better beach just past the headland.
