Adversity Free Day

An adversity free day (AFD) Is one in which nothing consequential occurs to prevent completion of the day's planned activities.  This does not include mundane and disruptive setbacks such as flat tires, moderate rain, headwinds, boorish clods blowing smoke your way from the next table, missed appointments, and the like.

Examples of adverse events include: getting locked in the inside of a rancid outhouse by your oblivious partner of the moment; losing your passport; losing your spouse; significant accident or health emergencies, etc.

Syn: Type 1 Fun

Ant: Bad Story Day
