Coasting downhill to Corrales

Today’s ride comprised a fast descent with few climbs. It was a bit windy but not a factor as we rode through the valley. Riding temperatures ran from 53 - 69 degrees. Started the day with vest and rain jackets on. A couple of short light rain showers.

A few observations: Stop signs Say S-T-O-P, and are also written on the road. Orange juice is fresh squeezed by juice machines using whole oranges.

Quick rest along N-611, the landscape changed from dry, desert like to rich green forest.

Gentlemen explaining that another road would be a better route. Yes it was paved. Less cars and more beautiful.

Building in one of the towns on the route the gentleman recommended. It went through a number of lovely villages.

Green fields, cow bells, goats, cows, donkey and horses. Plus one horseman riding up N-611 talking on his cell phone. There was another town up ahead.

Stop to don rain jackets. Found some blackberries
