More Churches and Archeology

Uphill

To reach two of the oldest churches in Oviedo the six mile ride was mostly uphill. The smaller church dates back to 800. During the Spanish civil war the churches were damaged by both sides. The restorations are amazing.

Church of San Miguel de Lillo built in 800s.
