Aguilar to Reinosa

Is It Windy Enough!

We decided to wait out a light rain this morning and with a generous noon checkout time we had plenty of time to eat breakfast, catch the blog up a bit and let the weather clear. The temperature was a cool 57 degrees. Jackets were needed. We had a strong, I mean you had to pedal down hill except for the last  5 miles, as we rolled our way up and down hills to the top of the pass with gusts of 20mph - translate that to mean a constant strong breeze. The last stretch to the top of the pass Bob choose to walk, I upped my power and lowered my gears. Best decision of the day was taking the more direct, warmer, less climbing route.

We’d just made it over the pass. Bob said he felt like the building in the background. Ebikes rule on windy days.
