Tchuss Amsterdam, Hallo Deutchland

8 km by bike, 7,200 steps by foot, and 965 km by train

Getting our bikes loaded with all our gear for bike and train travel, goodbyes to the Zwaan our hotelboot and our new friends, last explores around Amsterdam, loading our bikes and bags on the train, changing trains, and sleeping in our train compartment (bunk beds again).

Jane FletcherTo Susan JamesWe all thought we would have gained weight will all the wonderful food but I guess we did enough biking that we only put on a couple of pounds. We sure did indulge!

Ready to begin our next adventure. Taking the train to Passau, Germany with two transfers one of only 15 minutes to get our bikes, luggage etc onto the bike car....

Kathleen ClassenWe are freezing in Geneva so this picture really made me smile. On this day last year in Geneva it was 27 C. Tomorrow morning it is forecast to be 4 C. Timing is everything 😂🤣. You are going to love Passau.

Got them compacted and one moved to another car so people could get by. We are learning....

Bikes loaded on the second train. We’re pros now much more efficient with help from a railway official about the best door to use.

The third and last train had no bike car going to passau so they found an empty cabin for our bikes and the train personnel moved them in the middle of the night as that car was not going all the way to passau.

Going up to bed. At 5:00 am the porter will wake us to be ready to get off the train and find our bikes at 5:18.
