Today was day two on the bike a 15 to 20 mph tailwind propelled us much of the way. On this section there were several times where we were on bike lanes rather than a separated trail, and then coming in to Couer d’Alene we paralleled the highway for awhile. We passed Boulder Beach, and several other places with some unique rock formations, saw mountains in the distance, we paralleled the Spokane river for much of the trip and crossed into Idaho, and had a picnic lunch near Post Falls. We had sunny coolish weather today. Some wore jackets all day…
Larry, our volunteer guide. Exceptional help navigating route detours and especially getting us to the hotel when our garmin battery died… Many Thanks!
Scott AndersonHey, Rachael and I had lunch here last May (2020) a couple of times when we were hiding out from Covid in the Palouse for a month: https://www.cycleblaze.com/journals/austintoalbuquerque/the-centennial-trail/. Bardenay Restaurant, right? I think we may have even been seated at this same table once. Reply to this comment 3 years ago
