Flat Tops and Flat Tires!
Rode the Paseo del Bosque trail along the Rio Grand in Albuquerque today but never managed to see the river. Lots of mature Cottonwood trees with some crazy bark and unfortunately one of our group found a Goat-head thorn so we got to change a tire, luckily it was the front tire. Near the end of our ride we headed of the paved trail to the mountain bike trails to try and find a view of the river but the closest we got was a view of a house high on the bluff across the river.
After our ride we headed out of town on our way to Moab Utah. We crossed the continental divide, saw lots of high desert, drove through a sand storm and saw lots of changing landscapes, mountains, mesas, and monolith formations.
