Amsterdam City Walk
And short bike ride
Today was our first full day in Amsterdam. We covered a lot of ground , literally. We did a walking tour of the Jordaan neighborhood, a city walk tour and rode our bikes in Vondel park. We got in 23,009 steps today! We saw lots of interesting gabled buildings, quiet tree lined canals, busy thoroughfares, learned some history, explored some hidden churches and had some traditional Dutch pancakes! We explored a bike parking garage and the bike stairs leading into the parking garage.

After our city explorations we walked to a traditional Dutch restaurant and had a great Dutch dinner of local specialties.

Sandy OsteenTulips are beautiful and I love the canals and buildings. Pancakes look delicious! Neat they are such a bike town, loved the bike stairs! Glad you are having fun.
