Ingleton Hikes

Today I hiked on 2 different trails.  I started with the Ingleton Waterfalls hike which was short by my standards and then did a hike up to Ingleborough, one of the Yorkshire 3 peaks.  The following photos are of the Waterfalls.  I was a little disappointed at the start of the hike because there was only some trickling streams like the one below.  Although, it was a great trail with beautiful rock formations and trees.

The next 2 photos are of wishing trees.  The link below gives an explanation of these.

After the Falls walk I headed back to town and had some snacks.  I then decided to hike as far as I could towards Ingleborough peak, the second highest peak in Yorkshire.  It was a beautiful hike!  With colorful cliffs along the way.

Eventually, I made It to this trail and started climbing.

As I continued to climb, it got steeper and was getting very windy so I stopped about 500 feet short of the top.  It’s lucky I did because it was very slow and difficult getting back down.
