In Pernes: a photo gallery

So I’m going to just dump these photos from around town without further comment. Or I’ll never get around to it.  I did pretty well, finding about fifteen fountains if you count the previous half dozen already posted.  There are apparently about another twenty I didn’t find, so maybe I’ll get a chance to look harder some day.

The clock tower.

Cours de la Republique Foutain, recently restored. I’ve seen an older photo of it where the center section is completely buried beneath stone and moss.

Scott AndersonTo Bob KoreisIt was too bad. Also the clock tower, which has some interesting medieval murals inside. Also a vintage bike museum of all things, closed for the winter. Also s smattering of fountains I missed. A reason to come back some year.

Scott AndersonTo Anne MathersYou’re right, she does have that ragdoll look. I was glad she’d stay put long enough for a good look.
