In Marfa 24 March
The campground doesn't get coffeee out until 7:30 so we didn't get our usual early start. Breakfast at 8 or later. A bunch went into town in the mid morning to do laundry. I hand washed a few things.
Finally went into town in the early afternoon. Most things were closed. Spring break is their busy time and it just ended and stores were on limited hours. Fpund the "Untitled."
People worked on their bikes. Two riders went back to their waxed chains now that rain is a low possibility. Others cleaned and lubed stuff.
It is nice to have a building to go into in the evening.
There were a couple days with strong head winds or rough roads or other things that made many participants wonder if they would make it. I think we are all a bit more confident and determined to make it as of today.
