there was some excitement yesterday, though that is probably not the right word.  We unloaded all the bags and left them in the lobby. Later one person could not find one bag. He checked with all the participants and all through the hotel. No luck. Much later, the driver decided to check the vehicle one more time and it had slid in to a spot that could not be seen without moving other things around. So, we were all happy that the worst had not come to pass.

Today was 56 hot miles with some headwind. we were mostly on the lovely cedar valley nature trail. Cindy and I were looking for birds along the way. I found her a life bird in the Nashville Warbler. Many House Wrens, Orioles, RB Grosbeaks and Indigo Buntings amongst others. We will ride the rest of the trail tomorrow.
