To rockwood
The support driver wanted to cycle some of the route, so we got lunch to go at the hotel. It is gradually uphill to the eastern continental divide, but we had no agreement on the amount of climbing for the day. We left the Yough for the Casselman river at Confluence. I saw a Northern Waterthrush, cool bird. The trail winds along following the river for the most part. Occasionally, it separates and there were a couple bridges. Lodging was at two small places. We drove to dinner and got a chance to see how hilly/mountainous it is here. Following the trail, you don't get much appreciation.
