I misheard the decision about what time to start and got going behind the rest. There was a strong wind from the NE and we were going east for many miles at the beginning. It was around 50 degrees. The middle third was to the SE and we had a crosswind and the last third was a partial tail wind as we went south. No rain, nothing lost or broken- so a good day. Due to the wind noise, not many birds heard.
