There had been talk of rain during the ride. Conflicting information about when the rain would be worst and least. I chose wrongly and ended up getting wetter than I could have. Three of us got turned around at the beginning and went a bit out of our way to start. The bulk of the ride was on an unpaved trail. Many parts were soupy and sucked your tires in. You can't tell in this picture, but I was covered in grime. This trail, the Old Plank Road Trail was paved and a delight.
And Hey, no flats.
The I&M canal trail could have been nice in different weather. Today it was tolerable. Four others waited till 10:30 to start and missed the rain, but still had soft wet trail.
