prior to the trip, Virginia and Delaware were the only two states I had not been to. I made it to Virginia on Sunday and rode a bit of it on Monday. Today, I drove a long way to Delaware. I can now say I have been to all 50 states. I took time to ride a towpath along the Chesapeake. Rain was predicted but I got lucky and stayed dry. It was a seemingly endless drive through Washington, DC and Annapolis MD to almost Wilmington DE. It was a nice paved trail on the water. Many birds were singing. My app  says I heard White Eyed Vireo and Prairie Warbler. A success.
