This was going to be one of the longer days at 64, but we changed hotels and it was 4 miles longer at 68. The Gay Lea Wilson trail was nice, but the Chichaqua was really great. Heavily wooded through much of it, I saw Baltimore Oriole, Rose Breasted Grosbeak and Indigo Bunting. Also seen, Great CRested Flycatcher and American Redstart, and others. It was very windy at around 25 mph. luckily it was a cross or a tail wind. Temperatures shot up to almost 90 after a week in the fifties. The hotel was a huge convention center with long hallways.
Today's ride: 68 miles (109 km)
Total: 268 miles (431 km)
