We went into Tours a couple times. It‘s a 20k ride or a 30 minute bus ride. The bus runs twice in the morning, once at lunch, and twice in the evening. Good value for the sociology — how public transit works and how people interact with it is endlessly fascinating— and to avoid riding in the rain.

Fantastic old town area of Tours. A mixed timber and brick style of construction that we haven‘t seen much of here.

Tours train station was eerily empty when we headed back to Munich (via Paris).
