The socks I have been cycling in so far can go no further so I needed to replace them.  I had patched them in El Ceibo, Guatemala last year but Spain is a tour too far.  So this morning we headed for the closest Decathlon to replace them.  Then we wandered explored the area around the cathedral for a while before making our way back to our digs.  It has been cold and rainy the whole day while it is forecast to start drying out from tomorrow it will still be very cold over the next few days, even going to below zero for a few mornings over the Easter Weekend.

Rooibos Tea is South Africa's national hot beverage. Rooibos (Aspalathus linearis), which translates as Red Bush, is endemic to the Cedarberg range in the Western Cape of South Africa and a limited range in the wild. However, in the early parts of the previous century farmers developed ways to cultivate it commercially. In recent years its use as a beverage has spread across the world but I hadn't expected to see is being blended with cannabis.

The cathedral is surrounded by other buildings and is almost impossible to photograph.

In the manner of John Phillips upon returning to a cold New York after returning from the Virgin Islands, we stopped in to a church.

Probably our last view of the Alhambra seen though the rain from the mirador just around the corner from our digs.
