Thurs Nov 22 - Off to safari in Kruger NP

Today our cycling adventure came to an end as we flew to Kruger NP to begin our safari adventure in the park. We flew from Cape Town to Nelspruit airport that supports the park. We had a 45min drive to our lodging at the Kruger Park Lodge where we have a 3 bedroom and 3.5 bathroom house. We don’t have a car so we are pretty well stuck here except for our safari outings the first of which starts tomorrow at 6 AM. On the grounds of the resort we saw a group of impala antelope with some young ones and some hippos in a pond. We are off to a good start.

The young impala were having a folic and I caught this one in flight.

We did see one small croc slither into the pond.
