I did not sleep well last night, the various noise sources all chiming in turn and occasionally all at once. Mostly dogs and trucks, with the roosters at 5 am. We had breakfast at the restaurant and left around 9, getting into Loreto at 1. We set up at a nicely situated RV park in town, easy cycling distance to all the attractions, good bathrooms and erratic Internet. Seems calm enough, for being in town.
Loreto is full of tourists who have flown or driven here, mostly from Canada it feels like. We briefly considered staying another day to explore the town more, but the overwhelming number of tourists and correspondingly high prices made that a bad decision. It would also mean cutting things close to make the ferry on the January 4.
We leave in the morning for a two day ride to Ciudad Constitución.
Mr. Bigglesworth came and purred for scratches while I was packing up
I somehow lost my bike shorts that were drying on my rear rack, found replacement at Manny’s Bike Shop. Manny is showing us the baby goat he claimed to be having for dinner but in reality is hand nursing
Stopped for a late lunch/first supper at a fish place on the malecón. I had a huge portion of very good ceviche and two beers, spent $50 and decided maybe tomorrow should be a riding day
