6/9 to Port Huron
Chilly this morning. I waited quite late to start at nearly 9;30. Most of the others had gone long before. It got warmer very soon after as the clouds burned off.
Much of the first part was on a state Highway. Then we went a bit out of the way to get on a rail/trail/. Ken was there with lunch which hasn't been our procedure very often. About half the trail was paved, but the unpaved wasn't bad. Quite a few birds singing through there, though nothing new as far as I could tell. A strong west wind blew us towards our destination. I met up with the other riders at the lunch stop and rode with two others the rest of the way.
We are at a fancy Doubletree Inn. Dinner was at the restaurant in the hotel. Tomorrow is a day off. We are near Lake Huron which we will probably all go take a look at.
We had a discussion after dinner about one or two spaces after a period.
