Day Ride to Lake Bled

I took a day trip to Lake Bled. It’s quite spectacular - a beautiful lake that has an island with a church, and a castle on a cliff overlooking it. Understandably it’s the most visited place in Slovenia.

I did prefer the riding and the scenery getting to and from Bled to the lakeside crowds though. It’s probably the same everywhere - people flock to a beautiful spot and get stuck into ice cream and such and the scenery takes a back seat.
