BAC Best of Bend: Ride Day Six
Bend OR - Twin Bridges Ride
McMenamins coffee at 7:00am was sufficient to open our eyes and add a +one to our Wordle streak. Yesterday's group happy hour and dinner was hosted at our ride leader's sister's home. The brother-in-law shared with us his championship winning master brews (pale ale, dark IPA, and stout). The locals had high praises about the Twin Bridges ride and assured us that their were two bridges to see along the route.
The ride (37.38 miles with 1,801 feet of climbing) took us out to Tumalo falls, past horse and livestock ranches and a neighborly bike aid station. The aid station was complete with bicycle tools, snacks, benches and vintage Schwinn bicycles as décor. However, Stacey never saw the bridges - Ted did - LOL!
