Libby to Two Rivers
The day began cool and clear, with the first segment of the ride to the west along Rte 2. Traffic was moderate and the shoulder wide, excep where crowded by jersey barriers above the Kootenai River.

After about 14 miles, I turned south on Rte 56 through a beautiful montane valley and the major climbing of the day. The road rose gently offering scenes of Bull Lake and then the Bull River in the final miles.
We camped that night at Two Rivers RV Park, in a nice shaded site. July 21 will be a rest day.
