We're going on holiday!
It has been two months since our return from Australia so it is time to hit the road again.
We're fly into Hà Nội, Vietnam and fly back from Bangkok, Thailand three months later. What lies in between will be worked out as we go along.
This is very much a credit card tour with no camping equipment being carried apart from the gear needed to brew up coffee and tea in the mornings. Leigh weighed her panniers and handlebar bag this morning - less than six kilograms in total!
We don't expect it to be an A to B tour. We plan to go off on various tangents and the chances of us having to use busses and trains to get us back on track are good.
We have a thirty day visa for Vietnam and South Africans get sixty days visa exemption in Thailand so we'll have to have a few days in Laos to make up the difference.

It is more than five years since we were last in Thailand, eight years since our last visit to Laos and seven years since being in Vietnam. We've been gone too long.
