Today was almost inconsequential.   A more roller coaster like ride than most we have had on this trip.  Mostly back roads, although not all of them were quiet.  Some roadworks to ensure we arrived in a dusty state at our destination for the night.  Lots of friendly greetings from locals we passed along the way.  But there wasn't anything of interest on which to report.

Our digs for the night is a pleasant and value for money hotel on the outskirts of Nong Bua town.  It even has a pool, somewhat cloudy but still worth risking a dip.

Tomorrow we head for the northern edge of the Ubol Ratana Dam.   It is surrounded by two National Parks but it seems neither of them are worth birding.   We'll see when we get there.
