Although the plan for today was to cut away from the river and head to the Phu Langka National Park we ended up simply cycling further up the river to Ban Phaeng.  This was largely because I've been struggling with a cold for the past couple of days and I  would prefer to be feeling a bit better before taking on the hiking and birding we hope to do.

Finding accomodation in Ban Phaeng proved to be a bit problematic and we ended up staying at the same motel, JB Place, where we had stayed eight years ago.  In fact, in the very same room.

Hopefully we'll be heading for the hills tomorrow.
