Arran loop ride
This was one of the finest day rides ever - a loop of the island, under brilliant skies. Just about perfect in every regard. The colors of the sea, especially on the southwest side, were brilliant, intense, and constantly shifting. We had a pleasant outdoor lunch at a bistro in Whiting Bay. On the west coast we took a short (2 mile round trip) walk to a complex of stone circles and standing stones.
