It's time for a another adventure.

This time I'm taking a short tour with my son Cameron around the San Francisco Bay Area Lighthouses.

The 1st plan: 

Day 1: Train to Oakland then ferry to San Francisco. Bike from San Francisco to the Marin Headlands, stay at the Hostel. Visit Point Bonita Lighthouse. 

Day 2: Bike to Point Reyes hostel. 

Day 3: Bike out to Point Reyes Lighthouse and return to the Point Reyes hostel. 

Day 4: Bike back to San Francisco, then ferry, train home.

After reading some blogs on the ride out to Point Reyes which is about 50 miles round trip, rather hilly and no doubt would be windy. I decided this would be too much for Cameron so altered my plans to spend two nights at the Marin hostel, then another night in San Francisco and visit Angel Island and Alcatraz Island which both have lighthouses.

We would tackle Point Reyes on another day.
