Day 35 Sand Lake

No riding today...had to hang out on this beautiful Minnesota lake. Somebody’s gotta do it right? Actually Jon worked on a house repair project with Brett, trying to resolve a roof leak. Meanwhile, I went kayaking out on the lake. Nice to work the upper body for a change! Still wasn’t good enough to be able to toss a can of beer up to Jon on the roof. If you’ve not watched the video, you’re in for a good laugh. We had more scrumptious food, including homemade cinnamon rolls and apple crisp. After dinner, we went down to the dock with Nate to fish. With his Ollie the Otter rod and worms, he caught at least a dozen sunfish. Jon spent most of his time taking the fish off of Nate’s rod than actually fishing! 😂 He had a few bites and some “almosts”, but nothing reeled in. Had a hard time staying awake long enough to watch the sunset, but we did catch it close to the end from the house deck through the trees. 😴
