Desbiens to Alma: Our last day of riding!

After patching the rear tire with all the duck tape in our medical kit we were successful in riding the last 30 km to Alma. We took a secondary road rather than the trail with the idea that if we had further problems we could flag down a vehicle. Fortunately, the duck tape did the trick and we were able to complete our ride
Just out of Alma we stopped by the side of the road because we were having trouble figuring out how to get to the B&B. Two cyclists stopped to help as is often the case in Quebec. The woman was wearing the exact same jersey as Mary Ellen. Neither the husband or the wife spoke any English. They drew out a map showing us how to get to Alma Bicycle Shop thinking that we wanted to get a new tire . As we were going to pack the bike into the bag as soon as we got to the B&B we would sort out our tire problem when we returned home. After much laughter and cooperative map reading the couple gave us a terrific route to the B&B on bike paths.
