Day 17: Monument Valley
Today was our second rest day of the trip, and we spent it with hosts Dave and Belinda, who are friends of Leo. They volunteered to drive us to Monument Valley, since Leo really wants to go there. It is an All American place, I can't argue with that. And although I went there last year, I was not able to go on the long dirt road through the valley floor. It just woudnt have worked on a bike.
But Dave and Belinda have a 4wd pickup so down we went...
It was a fun day and the weather was perfect, not too hot or cold. As for Monument Valley, I'll let the pictures do the talking...
