Today took me over the 2nd of four major mountain passes called Loup Loup Pass. Not nearly as difficult as Washington Pass a couple days ago but still challenging.  I picked up my bike from the local bike first thing this morning. They put on a new cassette, chain and brake pads. I stopped at a nice city RV park in Omak to camp for the night. A guy from the next site in a camper walked over and said I looked like I needed a cold beer. Randy and Colleen from about 3 hours north in Canada, great people. I ended up visiting with them for at least an hour. They're on the way home a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert. Ironically the only other person I talked to all day was a woman on a motorcycle heading home to Vancouver.  She also had just been to the same RHCP concert. Also right next to my campsite is a huge arena that seats 8000 and hosts the Omak Stampede which is apparently a huge deal in rodeo circles. The population of the entire town is 5000.

Today's ride: 47 miles (76 km)
Total: 324 miles (521 km)
