Today was the final day of my ride from York Nebraska to my final destination of Lincoln. My nephew Mike who lives in Lincoln rode the last two days with me which was a lot of fun. It definitely seems weird that I will not get up tomorrow and ride somewhere. It was an amazing journey of 1770 miles over about 6 and a half weeks. The Good Lord blessed me with health and safety throughout the trip. I saw so much of the stunning beauty of our great country. The San Juan Islands, the many mountain ranges across northern Washington including the Cascades. Through Idaho to Glacier National Park which was spectacular. Down through the hills and valleys of Montana to Missoula and then to Yellowstone and Grand Teton NP. Across the high plains of Wyoming, the mountains of Colorado and the corn fields of Nebraska. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. What always stands out on these trips is the people I meet along the way. Contrary to what the media might lead you to believe, our country is filled with good, kind generous people who will go out of their way to help you. Thanks to all of you who followed me on this journey and special thanks to those who made a donation to Home For Our Troops.

Today's ride: 65 miles (105 km)
Total: 1,772 miles (2,852 km)
