The big climbs are behind me! (For now)

Several long climbs out of Colville. Beautiful sunny day around 70! Best weather day so far. I have been surprised I haven't seen more long distance cyclists on this route. It is call The Northern Tier and is quite popular. Well, today about 7 miles in I ran into Robin from Colorado. Her plan is to ride across the entire country though she does have a friend driving a SAG vehicle so she not carrying any gear on the bike. Rode most of the day with her which was enjoyable and nice to have some company. Stopped in the cute tiny town of Ione right on the Pend Orielle river and only about 20 miles from Canada . The Riverview motel is a super nice and clean family run business right on the river with the resident cat Sir Michael roaming around. Might consider my first rest day in a while and stay here an extra day. There is one restaurant in town and a small grocery so I'm all set!
