The 4th in Fort Collins
A really nice 57 mile ride from Walden to the Poudre (pronounced Pooder) River Resort. A long climb up to Cameron Pass at 10,276 feet is the highest about sea level I have been though it wasn't the hardest climb. Then a long down hill all the way to the resort. One of my best and oldest childhood friends Marvin Johnson picked me up so I could spend the 4th with him and his wife Carolyn in Timnath just outside Fort Collins. They live on a golf course and we had a great view of the Timnath town fireworks from the 17th green behind their house.
