My original plan was to leave Fort Collins today and arrive in Lincoln around the 12th or 13th. My nephew Mike and his wife Jane live in Lincoln and were to be my end point. However they just found out their daughter Lauren was accepted into med school in Utah and has to be there for orientation by July 15. So they have to head to Boston in a few days to help her move. Way to go Lauren!!  So Mike and Jane drove to Fort Collins, picked me up and I will skip a few days of riding and Mike will ride the last 3 days with me to Lincoln from the middle of Nebraska. However today Nebraska was covered with torrential rains, hail and tornado warnings. So we didn't ride at all today and spent the night in Grand Island. We will ride the next two days into Lincoln.
