By going across the neck of Idaho it's only about 75 miles. The ultimate destination today was several miles past Clark Fork to the remotely located 5 acre home of Chad and Jess (and Enzo) my Warmshowers host. About 30 miles into today's ride is the great little town of Sandpoint. Chad is a commercial bread baker. He bakes about 200 loaves per week which they then sell at the Wednesday and Saturday Farmers Market in Sandpoint. They have a separate building on their property where he bakes. I stopped and saw them at the market, a quick stop at the bike shop and then lunch at a great little place called Spuds. Jamie, Tina and Sara are also going to be at their house tonight. Rode on another 35 miles to their house where they had an awesome meal prepared for all of us. We all set up our tents in the backyard. They were awesome hosts! Jess is a nurse and had to leave early the next morning. Chad showed us his baking operation in the morning and then it was on the road again.
Today's ride: 65 miles (105 km)
Total: 618 miles (995 km)
