Missoula to Darby

Missoula is a cool town. Sits in a bowl surrounded by hills/mountains.

Red Barn Bicycles in Hamilton. Great location a few miles out of town. Owner was born and raised in Lincoln Nebraska. Small world.

It's everywhere! Yes, basically in the middle of nowhere...a pickleball court.

1I got all my chores done the last two days...bike repairs at Hellgate Cyclery, laundry, resupply shopping at Albertsons, haircut (I know, insert joke here) stopped in at Adventure Cycling Association headquarters here in Missoula. The ACA is the Holy Grail for touring cyclists. Their maps are what get me from point A to point B every day. Thanks to Jeff, Jake, Sam and all the other great folks at ACA. Really great ride today through the Bitterroot Valley. Fairly flat ride and the majority was on a bike trail alongside Highway 93. Staying in Darby tonight. Darby is best known as the location for filming of the TV show Yellowstone. The Chief Joseph Ranch is about 2 miles outside town. I'll ride there in the morning and see what I can see

Today's ride: 69 miles (111 km)
Total: 1,085 miles (1,746 km)
