Leaving Glacier

I get the feeling they don't want anybody down that road.

Ominous! Just beat the rain to the campground.

The 4 of us that have been traveling together for several days all went separate directions today. Sarah heads east on the Northern Tier toward her home in Massachusetts. Jamie is also heading east on Sunday toward their Vermont home. His wife Tina is taking Amtrak back to Seattle and then driving their car back to Vermont with her brother. It's always one of the joys of bicycle touring to meet great people. The ride today was mostly work. Cold and most of the ride into the wind. Stopped for the night at Swan Lake Campground and Trading Post.

Today's ride: 68 miles (109 km)
Total: 958 miles (1,542 km)

Craig KruegerRick, Looks like it's possible that you're in/near Missoula. I've been enjoying your journal. We are having a small dinner tonight for a couple touring cyclists as well as a few local folks who have done some significant tours. Just sharing stories and building connections; you're welcome to join if you're interested. You can reach me at nordicski45@gmail.com
