Return to Rock Mill
A good nights sleep, banishes most of the after-effects of our Emirates high altitude incarceration and we spend the day admiring the beautiful Rock Mill garden and enjoying the restful sounds of the burbling stream.

The problem of a small but active rabbit with a voracious appetite for Cherry’s broccoli has to be dealt with, or to, and Rufus constructs a, hopefully, rabbit proof fence.
Since our first visit in the 70s, a walk of the ’round’ has been a way to catch up on neighbourhood events. Up out of the valley we take in the view of green hedged hills dotted with small white and red brick farmhouses and the odd castle. Beautiful in the warm evening air. Light at present lasts till 10:00 and returns again by 4:00 am.
Should the UK leave the EU is the hot topic at the moment, and everyone has a view – excitement and some concern is building – an event that could even trump Trump.
