The gathering of the silver twinkies

We didn't do much today except make a trip to the grocery store and laundromat. After those errands we just hung out on our patio and watched all of the Airstreams come into the campground.
I was glad that we'd gotten here a day early as we were able to snag one of the better spots. Some of the others had to squeeze into the middle rows that were a tight fit unless they had a shorter trailer.
All different models and sizes of Airstreams are attending the rally, including some really shiny vintage ones. It's been fun visiting with everyone. Some are newbies like us while many others have been Airstreaming for many years.
One couple owns 3 different ones that are scattered around the country! They plan to give a trailer to each of their sons.
This evening there was a happy hour with ice cream where we met some other folks. More events are planned for the next couple of days.
