I am aware that I have fallen very behind in terms of telling this story and that posts are now coming through with such infrequency that many readers will have lost interest. It must be a bit like trying to sit through a movie which only comes on in two minute bursts and then goes to an ad-break for five days. Which, incidentally, is how it is trying to watch Australian TV. I can only apologise for this (the lack of journal updates I mean, not Australian TV, that’s nothing to do with me.) I wish I had a good excuse for not being able to type, like this guy but unfortunately nothing as exciting as nearly being murdered in Mongolia has happened to me recently. For such high drama I suggest you switch to the aforementioned blog of William Bennett. I, meanwhile, can presently only find the motivation to continue my own blog in photo caption form:
